Nic has worked in supported housing for 14 years within front line and management roles and worked for Lancashire County Council's Leaving Care Team.

Nic believes that every Care Leaver can manage their own home and life successfully with guidance, supportive people, and compassion.

National House Project (NHP) has been shortlisted for Public Services Social Enterprise of the Year at the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2025.

Peterborough Council cite Local House Project as a factor in improving the experiences, outcomes, and lives of young people leaving care.
